Kybos
A downloadable game for Windows
About the Game
Developed solo specifically for the GMTK Game Jam, this game tests your spatial awareness and logical thinking. You control a rolling block on a grid, and your primary goal is simple: reach the final destination tile. However, there's a catch—you have an exact number of moves to use. You must calculate your path perfectly, ensuring you land on the final tile just as your move counter hits zero. With dynamic, aesthetic color palettes and a relaxing atmosphere, every level is a new puzzle waiting to be untangled.
Endless & Progressive Challenge All levels in the game are entirely procedurally generated. As you progress, the game is designed to get progressively harder, offering more complex and challenging grids to solve.
Important Note (No Save System) Please note that there is currently no save system. If you return to the Main Menu or close the game, your current level progress will be lost and you will start over.
Controls The game offers flexible input methods to suit your playstyle:
- Movement: W, A, S, D or Arrow Keys
- Mouse / Touch: Swipe in the direction you want to move.
- Auto-Rewind / Retry: Hold R (or hold the in-game Retry button) to quickly rewind your path and try again.
- Main Menu: Hold Q (or hold the in-game Menu button) to return to the title screen.
Credits & Development This is a solo project developed entirely by me for the jam.
